COURSE DESCRIPTION & OUTLINE

This one-day training workshop is designed for public power communities to enhance preparedness and response during emergencies—such as natural disasters, major outages, and severe weather events. 

Key topics include:

  • Natural disaster preparedness
  • Mutual aid coordination and disaster recovery
  • Contingency planning and emergency procedures
  • Worker safety and hazard mitigation
  • Response tactics and incident management
  • Customer engagement during crises
  • Post-event evaluation and follow-up

This course is ideal for anyone involved in emergency planning and operations within a utility. Maximum of 3 registrants from each utility.

TIME: 9:00a.m. - 5:00p.m.

  • Associate Members: $449

CANCELATION POLICY: If a course is cancelled by ElectriCities, all registrants will be notified with a full registration fee refund. A non-refundable registration fee will be charged for cancellations after the deadline July 9, 2025.
