In partnership with the American Public Power Association (APPA), we are excited to offer Taking Care of Business: Your Local Electrical Distribution System— a two-day course designed to give participants a foundational understanding of the systems that keep their communities powered.
This course offers a clear, introductory overview of the electric distribution system. Over two days, you’ll learn the major functions and structure of the system, how electricity moves from generation to customers, and how the key pieces of the distribution network work together to deliver reliable service. Whether you’re supporting operations, interacting with customers, managing projects, or looking to strengthen your understanding of utility operations, this course will help you connect the dots and speak confidently about how your system works.
